# Hello.Fun Fees

Hello.Fun uses a transparent fee structure across both stages of a token's market.

Fees can apply during bonding curve trading and after graduation through the Uniswap v4 market.

There is no Hello.Fun Deployment Fee for creating a token.

### Fee Overview

| Fee            | Bonding Curve | After Graduation        |
| -------------- | ------------- | ----------------------- |
| Protocol Fee   | 1%            | 1%                      |
| Creator Fee | Set at launch | Same rate set at launch |
| Deployment Fee | None          | Not applicable          |
| Network Gas    | Separate      | Separate                |

**There is no separate 1% liquidity fee after graduation.**

Network gas is separate from Hello.Fun protocol fees.

### No Deployment Fee

Hello.Fun does not charge a Deployment Fee to create a token.

The creator still pays the blockchain gas required to execute the launch transaction on Robinhood Chain.

    D --> E["Paid to Network"]
```
### Protocol Fee
Hello.Fun applies a 1% protocol fee to trades.
During the bonding curve stage, the protocol fee applies to curve trades.
After graduation, the same 1% protocol fee continues on swaps through the graduated Uniswap v4 market.
```mermaid

    A["Trade"] --> B{"Market Stage"}
    B -->|"Bonding Curve"| C["1% Protocol Fee"]
    B -->|"Uniswap v4"| D["1% Protocol Fee"]
```
The protocol fee rate is fixed by the deployed system and does not provide a mechanism for increasing the rate on an existing launch.
### Creator Fee
Creators can establish a creator fee when launching a token.
The selected rate must remain within the range allowed by Hello.Fun.
Once the token launches, that creator fee is fixed for the launch.
The same creator fee continues across both market stages.
```mermaid

    B --> C["Bonding Curve Trades"]
    B --> D["Uniswap v4 Swaps"]
    C --> E["Creator Fees Accrue"]
    D --> E
```
The creator cannot later increase the creator fee for that launch.
### Fees During the Bonding Curve
Before graduation, the Hello.Fun trading fees are:
* **1% Protocol Fee**
* **Creator Fee**
The creator fee depends on the rate established for that specific launch.
    A["Bonding Curve Trade"] --> B["1% Protocol Fee"]
    A --> C["Creator Fee"]
    B --> D["Protocol Fee Balance"]
    C --> E["Creator Fee Balance"]
```

### Fees After Graduation

Once the token graduates, trading moves to its Uniswap v4 market.

Post graduation swaps include:

* **1% Protocol Fee**
* **Creator Fee**

The creator fee remains the rate established when the token was launched.

**No additional 1% liquidity fee is charged after graduation.**

```mermaid
    A["Uniswap v4 Swap"] --> B["1% Protocol Fee"]
    A --> C["Creator Fee"]
    B --> D["Protocol Fee Balance"]
    C --> E["Creator Fee Balance"]
```

### Fee Accrual

Protocol and creator fee balances are accounted for through the Hello.Fun fee system.

Rather than requiring fees to be sent directly to recipients during every trade, eligible balances accrue and can later be claimed.

```mermaid
flowchart LR
    A["Trading Activity"] --> B["Fees Accrue"]
    B --> C["Fee Balance"]
    C --> D["Eligible Recipient Claims"]
```

This separates fee accounting from the execution of individual trades.

### Network Gas

Blockchain gas is not a Hello.Fun platform fee.

Users pay the network gas required for the transactions they sign, including actions such as:

* Launching a token
* Buying
* Selling
* Claiming eligible fees

The exact gas cost depends on the network transaction.

### Fees Are Part of the Market

Hello.Fun separates the different costs involved in a launch and its market.

**Deployment Fee:** None

**Protocol Fee:** 1%

**Creator Fee:** Set at launch

**Separate Liquidity Fee:** None

**Network Gas:** Separate

The creator fee is established at launch.

The protocol fee is fixed.

The same two trading fee components apply before and after graduation:

**1% Protocol Fee + Creator Fee**

The market's fee structure remains transparent across the token lifecycle.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://hello-fun-1.gitbook.io/hello.fun-docs/fees-and-creator-earnings/hello.fun-fees.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
