# HELLO Mate

### Understand Projects Through AI

HELLO Mate is the Token AI Agent of Hello.Fun.

A token can have market data, project information, links, activity and an expanding history around it.

Finding the answer to a simple question can mean searching through several different sources.

HELLO Mate is designed to make that information conversational.

Instead of only reading through a project, users can ask about it.

### Ask the Token

HELLO Mate gives users an AI powered way to explore and understand a project.

Users can ask questions and receive answers based on the information available to Mate.

```mermaid
    A["User Question"] --> B["HELLO Mate"]
    C["Project Information"] --> B
    D["Available Data"] --> B
    B --> E["AI Generated Answer"]
```

The goal is to make project information easier to access without requiring users to manually search through everything surrounding the token.

### A Token AI Agent

HELLO Mate is designed specifically around the token it represents.

Rather than acting as a general purpose assistant, Mate focuses on helping users understand the project and the information available around it.

Users may be able to ask about areas such as:

* What the project is
* Project information
* Token information
* Available market data
* Recent activity
* Project links
* Other information available to Mate

This creates a conversational layer around the token.

### Make Data Easier to Understand

Market pages can contain a lot of information.

Price, volume, liquidity, holders, transactions and other figures may each tell part of the story.

Mate is designed to help explain available information in a more accessible way.

```mermaid
    B["Market Information"] --> D
    C["Project Information"] --> D
    D --> E["Ask"]
    D --> F["Explain"]
    D --> G["Summarize"]
```

Instead of only seeing the information, users gain another way to interact with it.

### Daily Activity Summaries

HELLO Mate is also designed to help summarize activity around a project.

Rather than reviewing every individual update or data point, users can get a clearer view of what has been happening around the token.

This can make it easier to return to a project and understand recent activity without starting from the beginning.

### Mate and HELLO Lens

HELLO Mate and HELLO Lens serve different purposes.

**HELLO Lens** analyzes available information and produces scores, insights and risk signals.

**HELLO Mate** provides a conversational way to ask questions and understand available project and token information.

```mermaid
flowchart LR
    A["Token Information"] --> B["HELLO Lens"]
    A --> C["HELLO Mate"]
    B --> D["Analyze"]
    C --> E["Ask and Understand"]
```

Lens helps users analyze.

Mate helps users ask.

### Mate and Say Hello

Say Hello is designed to bring the wider world around a token into one intelligence and discovery experience.

HELLO Mate can become the conversational layer within that world.

Users can explore the information surrounding a token and use Mate to ask questions about what they are seeing.

```mermaid
flowchart LR
    A["Say Hello"] --> B["Token World"]
    B --> C["HELLO Mate"]
    C --> D["Ask Questions"]
    C --> E["Understand Information"]
```

This turns project discovery from a purely visual experience into an interactive one.

### AI Generated Information

HELLO Mate provides AI generated responses based on the information available to it.

Its responses should be understood as an assistance layer rather than guaranteed facts, financial advice or predictions of future market performance.

Users can review the underlying project and market information independently when evaluating a token.

### Part of HELLO Intelligence

HELLO Mate is the **ASK** layer of HELLO Intelligence.

**ASK → HELLO Mate → Understand projects through AI.**

It gives tokens a new interface for understanding the information around them.

### Availability

HELLO Mate is coming soon and will be introduced as HELLO Intelligence expands.

**Ask the token. Meet your Mate.**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://hello-fun-1.gitbook.io/hello.fun-docs/hello-intelligence/hello-mate.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
