# Risk Overview

Hello.Fun operates through smart contracts, blockchain based markets and supporting offchain infrastructure.

HELLO Intelligence also introduces AI powered assistance, analysis, monitoring and planned autonomous functionality around the Hello.Fun ecosystem.

Launching, buying, selling, using HELLO Intelligence or otherwise interacting with Hello.Fun involves risk.

No protocol design, liquidity mechanism, smart contract protection or AI system can eliminate every possible loss.

Users should understand these risks before interacting with the platform.

### Smart Contract Risk

Hello.Fun relies on smart contracts to manage token creation, bonding curve trading, fees, graduation and liquidity.

Smart contracts can contain vulnerabilities, unexpected behavior or implementation errors.

```mermaid
flowchart TD
    A["Smart Contract Interaction"] --> B["Code Execution"]
    B --> C["Expected Behavior"]
    B --> D["Potential Technical Risk"]
```

The current Hello.Fun contracts have undergone contract testing and source verification.

The current architecture has not completed an independent third party security audit.

Testing and verification reduce uncertainty in specific areas but do not guarantee that vulnerabilities do not exist.

### Market Risk

Tokens launched through Hello.Fun are market assets.

Their prices can rise or fall significantly.

Users may lose some or all of the value used to purchase a token.

```mermaid
flowchart LR
    A["Market Activity"] --> B["Price Changes"]
    B --> C["Potential Gain"]
    B --> D["Potential Loss"]
```

Hello.Fun does not guarantee the price, performance, liquidity or future activity of any launched token.

### Bonding Curve Risk

Before graduation, trading takes place through the Hello.Fun bonding curve.

The price changes according to the state of the curve and trading activity.

Large trades can create significant price impact.

Users should review their quote, expected output, price impact and slippage settings before signing a transaction.

### Slippage Risk

Market conditions can change between receiving a quote and executing a transaction.

Slippage protection allows users to define the minimum output they are willing to accept.

If the transaction cannot satisfy that minimum output, it can revert.

```mermaid
flowchart LR
    A["Trade Quote"] --> B["Market Changes"]
    B --> C{"Within Slippage?"}
    C -->|"Yes"| D["Trade Executes"]
    C -->|"No"| E["Transaction Reverts"]
```

Slippage protection limits execution outside the user's selected tolerance, but it does not eliminate market risk.

### Price Impact Risk

A trade can affect the market price.

The size of that effect depends on factors including trade size and available market liquidity.

Larger trades can experience greater price impact.

Users should review the displayed price impact before confirming a transaction.

### Graduation Risk

Graduation moves a launch from its bonding curve into a Uniswap v4 market.

This process involves multiple onchain steps, including moving launch reserves and establishing the graduated pool.

```mermaid
flowchart LR
    A["Bonding Curve"] --> B["Graduation"]
    B --> C["Pool Creation"]
    C --> D["Uniswap v4 Market"]
```

Automatic graduation may not always complete in a single attempt.

Hello.Fun includes permissionless graduation completion so an eligible graduation can be completed without depending exclusively on a single operator.

A restricted recovery mechanism also exists for the specific situation where reserves have already been swept and pool seeding fails.

These mechanisms reduce specific operational dependencies but do not eliminate smart contract or blockchain execution risk.

### Liquidity Risk

Graduated Hello.Fun liquidity is transferred into a permanent liquidity locker.

The locker does not provide a mechanism for withdrawing, unlocking, transferring or decreasing the locked liquidity principal.

Permanent liquidity locking does not guarantee:

* A particular token price
* A particular amount of trading activity
* Stable market value
* Buyer or seller demand
* Protection from market losses

Locked liquidity and market performance are separate concepts.

### Uniswap v4 Risk

After graduation, Hello.Fun markets operate through Uniswap v4 infrastructure.

Interaction with graduated markets therefore includes risks associated with external smart contract infrastructure and onchain market execution.

Hello.Fun's liquidity protections do not remove risks arising from the broader market or external infrastructure.

### Blockchain Risk

Hello.Fun operates on Robinhood Chain.

Blockchain interaction can be affected by factors outside Hello.Fun's direct control, including:

* Network availability
* Transaction congestion
* Gas conditions
* Transaction ordering
* Chain level disruptions
* Wallet connectivity

Transactions can fail, remain pending or execute differently from a previously displayed quote if market conditions change.

### Wallet Risk

Standard Hello.Fun interactions use wallets controlled by users.

Hello.Fun does not hold the private keys of a user's connected wallet.

```mermaid
flowchart LR
    A["User Wallet"] --> B["User Signature"]
    B --> C["Onchain Transaction"]
```

Users are responsible for protecting their wallets, private keys and recovery information.

Loss or compromise of wallet access can result in loss of assets.

### Autonomous Execution Risk

Certain planned HELLO Intelligence products can introduce a different interaction model.

HELLO Paws is designed to support autonomous actions through a separately funded wallet and rules defined by the user.

```mermaid
flowchart LR
    A["User Rules"] --> C["Autonomous Agent"]
    B["Funded Wallet"] --> C
    C --> D["Qualifying Opportunity"]
    D --> E["Onchain Action"]
```

Autonomous execution means an eligible action may occur without the user manually approving that individual transaction at the moment of execution.

This introduces additional risks.

A configured rule may produce an action the user would not have chosen manually.

A detected opportunity may later prove irrelevant, misleading or unsuccessful.

Market conditions may change between detection and execution.

Transactions can still be affected by network, smart contract and market conditions.

Funds placed into a wallet intended for autonomous activity may be used according to the permissions and rules established for that product.

Users should carefully review configuration, permissions and funding before enabling autonomous functionality.

Autonomous execution does not guarantee a successful launch, market outcome or financial return.

### Token Risk

Hello.Fun provides infrastructure for launching and trading tokens.

A token being launched through Hello.Fun does not guarantee:

* Future value
* Continued trading activity
* Community growth
* Creator activity
* Market demand
* Price appreciation

Users should evaluate individual tokens independently.

### Creator Risk

A creator can launch a token through Hello.Fun without receiving privileged control over the token contract.

The standard launch token does not provide the creator with minting, blacklist or transfer freeze functionality.

However, these contract restrictions do not guarantee the future behavior, communication or activity of a creator.

### Metadata Risk

Token metadata is prepared before launch and its reference becomes immutable once written into the token.

This means metadata errors cannot simply be corrected by changing the token's metadata reference after launch.

Creators should carefully review token information before signing the launch transaction.

Creators using HELLO Pilot should also review AI assisted launch information before approving the final transaction.

### Data and Display Risk

Hello.Fun indexes blockchain activity and presents market information through its interface.

This includes price, market capitalization, volume, liquidity, holders, transactions, charts and pair information.

```mermaid
flowchart LR
    A["Blockchain"] --> B["Indexer"]
    B --> C["Data Layer"]
    C --> D["Hello.Fun Interface"]
```

Temporary indexing, infrastructure or display issues may affect how quickly information appears in the interface.

The blockchain remains the underlying source of transaction and contract state.

### AI Generated Intelligence Risk

HELLO Intelligence can generate scores, insights, summaries, answers, signals, recommendations and other AI generated outputs.

These outputs are interpretation layers.

They should not be treated as underlying blockchain facts, guarantees or predictions.

```mermaid
flowchart LR
    A["Available Information"] --> B["HELLO Intelligence"]
    B --> C["AI Generated Output"]
    C --> D["User Interpretation"]
```

AI generated outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or incorrectly interpreted.

The quality of an output can also depend on the information available to the relevant product.

Users should independently review important information before making decisions.

### HELLO Lens Risk

HELLO Lens is designed to generate token intelligence, including scores, insights and risk signals.

A Lens score or signal does not guarantee that a project is safe, legitimate, valuable or likely to perform in a particular way.

A high score does not eliminate risk.

A low score does not guarantee a negative outcome.

Lens should be treated as an intelligence tool rather than a prediction or guarantee.

### HELLO Mate Risk

HELLO Mate generates conversational answers based on information available to the system.

AI generated answers can contain errors, incomplete explanations or outdated information.

Users should verify important market, project and transaction information rather than relying solely on a conversational response.

### The Scout Risk

The Scout is designed to identify activity and developments that may deserve attention.

A signal identified as unusual or meaningful does not automatically indicate positive or negative market activity.

The absence of a Scout signal also does not mean that no relevant activity has occurred.

### HELLO Match Risk

HELLO Match is designed to generate KOL recommendations and compatibility scores.

A recommendation or compatibility score does not guarantee:

* KOL availability
* KOL endorsement
* Audience response
* Campaign performance
* Project growth
* Financial performance

Creators remain responsible for evaluating potential collaborations independently.

### Social and External Information Risk

Some HELLO Intelligence experiences can use information beyond direct blockchain market data.

External information can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, misleading or changed at its source.

Social activity in particular can move quickly and may contain inaccurate or manipulated information.

The presence of external information within an intelligence experience does not verify that information as true.

### External Price Data Risk

Hello.Fun can use external price information to display values such as ETH denominated amounts in USD terms.

These conversions are for display purposes.

External price information can experience delays, interruptions or discrepancies.

### Fee Risk

Users should review applicable fees before trading.

Trading can involve:

* Protocol Fee
* Creator Fee
* Blockchain gas

The protocol fee is 1% during bonding curve trading and 1% on graduated pool swaps.

There is no separate 1% liquidity fee after graduation.

Fees reduce the amount received or increase the effective cost of a transaction.

### Transaction Finality

Blockchain transactions are executed according to the state of the network and smart contracts when the transaction is processed.

A displayed quote is not a guarantee that the same market conditions will remain available until execution.

Users should verify transaction details before signing.

For autonomous functionality, users should understand that execution may occur according to previously configured permissions rather than through manual approval of every individual transaction.

### Planned Features

Some features described throughout the Hello.Fun documentation represent planned ecosystem expansion rather than currently deployed functionality.

These include:

* $HELLO
* $HELLO pairing
* Enhanced Creator Rewards
* Tokenized stock pairs
* Meme token pairs
* The Hello Economy
* $HELLO Market Buybacks and Burn
* Selected Launch Buybacks
* HELLO Paws
* HELLO Lens
* HELLO Mate
* The Scout
* HELLO Match
* Say Hello

HELLO Pilot is planned as part of the Hello.Fun launch experience.

Additional HELLO Intelligence products are intended to be introduced progressively.

Planned functionality may change before implementation.

Users should distinguish between currently deployed functionality, launch product direction and future ecosystem plans.

### No Guaranteed Outcome

Hello.Fun provides infrastructure for token creation, onchain markets and intelligence around those markets.

It does not guarantee the success, value, liquidity, demand or performance of any token.

HELLO Intelligence does not guarantee that an analysis, recommendation, signal, match, answer or autonomous action will produce a successful outcome.

```mermaid
flowchart TD
    A["Hello.Fun Infrastructure"] --> B["Token Launch"]
    B --> C["Onchain Market"]
    C --> D["Market Driven Outcome"]
    E["HELLO Intelligence"] --> F["AI Generated Intelligence"]
    F --> G["User Decision"]
```

Users remain responsible for deciding whether and how they interact with individual tokens, markets and intelligence products.

### Understand Before You Interact

Before launching, trading or using HELLO Intelligence, users should understand:

* The selected pair
* The current market stage
* The applicable fees
* Price impact
* Slippage
* Graduation mechanics
* Liquidity structure
* Smart contract risk
* Market risk
* Wallet and blockchain risk
* AI generated intelligence risk
* Autonomous execution permissions where applicable

Onchain markets can be volatile.

AI generated intelligence can be incorrect.

Autonomous actions can execute according to previously configured rules.

Blockchain transactions can result in financial loss.

Users should only interact after understanding the mechanics, permissions and risks involved.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://hello-fun-1.gitbook.io/hello.fun-docs/risks-and-disclosures/risk-overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
